AllyBaby ("the App") is developed and operated by Hao Li. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how it is stored and used, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting the privacy of parents and their children.
Information We Collect
When you create an account and use AllyBaby, we collect and store the following:
- Account information: your email address and encrypted password, used solely for authentication
- Baby profiles: name, date of birth, and optional avatar photo
- Food records: daily dietary logs for baby and mother
- Symptom logs: type, severity, time, and notes
- Food allergy status: foods marked as safe, allergic, or under observation
We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or usage analytics.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored in two places:
- On your device: a local cache is maintained for fast, offline access
- In the cloud: data is securely synced to Supabase (supabase.com), a third-party cloud database provider, so you can access it across devices and avoid data loss
Supabase stores data on servers located in the United States. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used exclusively to provide the App's core functionality:
- Displaying your baby's food and symptom history
- Generating allergy reports
- Syncing data across your devices
We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to any third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App:

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes all your data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Children's Privacy
AllyBaby is designed to be used by parents and caregivers. The account holder must be 13 years of age or older. Information entered about children is associated with the parent's account and subject to the same protections described in this policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Medical Disclaimer
AllyBaby is a personal tracking tool only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your child's health and any potential allergies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
